SAVAGE SERIES

Top Row: Yellow, White

Bottom Row: White (MFL) Marked Lined Fretless, Blue (FL) Fretless

SAVAGE SERIES Basses

Generally the construction and color options are the same as the SAVAGE Series guitar. Necks could be had fretted with 22 frets (R), marked fretless (MFL) with white colored lines, or unmarked fretless (FL). Bridges have a chrome bass plate with brass saddles (like the Mark X). Electronics and controls are covered below by model.

Savage

The most popular model, a “P/J” pickup arrangement (split single coil at the neck and a 8 pole single coil at the bridge), a traditional three-way pickup selector, and two volume and two tone controls.

Berserker

The Berserker was not sold in the United States (and therefore much more rare than the Savage). It has a single split coil “Power Pulse” pickup, with a single volume and tone control.
