Anea SE-15

The Anea brand is a bit of a mystery. It is generally believed that after Daion went under in 1984, Anea picked up some of the remaining parts inventory and had both acoustic guitars and electric guitars and basses assembled in Korea (though stickers can say made in Japan).

This example, the Anea SE-15, is clearly based on the the Year Series The ‘78 Heritage. Note that the headstock is branded Anea on the front, though the back of the headstock is branded Daion.

Being that Aneas are based on leftover Daion inventory, they are considerably more rare than Yamakis and Daions.
